I know I thanked you ages ago, for the great cake which you produced for my daughter's wedding on 2 September 09 - however, if you remember, the top layer was sponge, which was eaten on the day, while the bottom layer was a fruit cake, which we saved for the post-wedding party, which has only just been held, ten weeks later.
 
The fruit cake was absolutely delicious - I have to say it was by far the best fruit wedding cake that I have ever tasted, fruity and light-textured.  At least half-a-dozen guests came up to me to comment on how good it was, so you can be justly proud of your product!

Everyone commented on not only how good it looked but on the great taste. The chocolate, carrot and plain tiers disappeared on the night and the fruit cake stayed moist till it was eaten (That didn't take long).

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the beautiful wedding cake you made for us a couple of weeks ago. It was even better than I thought it would be!
We had a picture taken at the reception in Strathpeffer, of us cutting the wedding cake, then we decided that it looked so good, we took it home, and had it on show at the Wedding Dance in Wick the following night.

Everyone was commenting on how unusual it was, and asking who had made it. It tasted so good as well - it soon disappeared!
